Responding to the Opioid Epidemic
“Responding to the Opioid Epidemic” presents multiple clinical initiatives of the Division of Addiction Research and Treatment in the Department of Psychiatry. Faculty and patients share the devastation of addiction and the good outcomes possible through a multitude of programs offered by the Division.
“Little Hearts” features the innovations of the Fetal Heart Program to identify congenital heart defects before birth. The interdisciplinary team of doctors share their passion to bring the best care throughout pregnancy and beyond. Always moving forward, the program participates in translational research efforts to address the problem of maternal diabetes and its impact on the unborn child.
To Be A Doctor
“To Be A Doctor” captures the excitement of the first days of medical school where students begin working with a cadaver, the day no one forgets. Featuring both medical school students and UMSOM faculty, the program provides a glimpse at the “to be a doctor” trajectory from medical school student to faculty involved in different fields of clinical care.
