This teen public awareness initiative for The Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling targets teens and young adults in Baltimore City who live in a culture of gambling. Working with young Baltimore City composers and a music promoter who grew up in neighborhoods with gambling, MedSchool Maryland Productions produced a video targeting youth in neighborhoods where dice playing is a way of life. The Baltimore Dice Zombies video is hosted on a “zombie” website along with interviews of the video cast who describe the gambling environment in Baltimore. Information on the website includes facts about gambling, helpline information and links to the Center’s website. The cast of the video will be partnering with MedSchool Maryland Productions to distribute the videos through social media.
