MedSchool Maryland Productions prepared a tribute to the dedicated surgeons, physicians, nurses and staff who cared for all those who were injured, ensuring the fire fighters, EMTs, police, and citizens of Maryland all received the best possible care during this urgent time.
MedSchool Maryland Productions is honored to have been the production agency selected by the New York Lasker Foundation to profile its prestigious winners of the coveted Lasker Awards for many years. The Lasker awards, often referred to as the American Nobel Prize for medicine, salutes outstanding breakthroughs in clinical treatments and basic research.
2014 LASKER AWARDS
MedSchool Maryland Productions travelled to Atlanta, San Francisco, Seattle and France to film the recipients of the 2014 Lasker awards. These tributes to the outstanding research scientists and clinicians are filmed and edited over a two month period.
2013 LASKER ~ DEBAKEY CLINICAL MEDICAL RESEARCH AWARD
The Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award video honored early pioneers who developed technology currently used in cochlear implants. Interviews included Ingeborg Hochmair, Graeme M. Clark, MD and Blake S. Wilson. Produced for The Lasker Foundation.
2013 LASKER ~ BLOOMBERG PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD
The 2013 Lasker-Bloomberg Public Service Award honoring Bill and Melinda Gates included personal interviews of Bill and Melinda Gates as well as personal tributes from Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, Alfred Sommer, Ph.D., and Ban Ki-Moon. Produced for The Lasker Foundation.
